Role Description
This is a full-time, remote role for a Social Media Manager at Ledgar AI. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for building and managing Ledgar AI’s social media presence across key platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute social media strategies to grow brand awareness, engagement, and community.
- Plan, create, and publish engaging content for founders, freelancers, small business owners, and startup audiences.
- Manage the social media content calendar across platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook, and TikTok where relevant.
- Write clear, compelling captions, posts, threads, and short-form content that communicate Ledgar AI’s value in a simple and relatable way.
- Create or coordinate visual content, including graphics, short videos, reels, carousels, and product-focused posts.
- Monitor social channels, respond to comments and messages, and help build an active community around the brand.
- Support product launches, feature announcements, campaigns, and marketing initiatives through social media content.
- Track social media performance, analyze engagement metrics, and prepare regular reports with insights and recommendations.
- Test new content formats, trends, and campaign ideas to improve reach, engagement, and conversions.
- Collaborate with the product, design, and marketing teams to ensure content is accurate, consistent, and aligned with Ledgar AI’s brand voice.
- Stay updated on social media trends, platform changes, competitor activity, and startup/AI/fintech conversations.
- Help position Ledgar AI as a trusted, practical, and modern bookkeeping solution for small businesses.
Qualifications
- Strong social media skills, including Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO).
- Excellent Communication and Writing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences and platforms.
- Experience with Content Strategy, including planning content calendars and aligning social content with broader marketing goals.
- Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., native platform insights, Google Analytics, or similar) and data-driven optimization.
- Proven experience managing brand social media accounts, preferably in SaaS, fintech, or startups.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of small business or freelancer needs; passion for helping entrepreneurs is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
